🚨Contribute to a new study on HPPD🚨
Questionnaire that explores the drivers of distress with HPPD
Ed Prideaux, a journalist who has lived with HPPD effects for seven years, is launching a questionnaire study as part of his Master’s degree funded by the Foundation.
Anyone and everyone who has experienced post-drug visual effects and/or HPPD is invited to contribute to the study, which is completely anonymous and should take around thirty minutes to complete. Informed by Ed’s personal experience and extensive interactions with people living with HPPD, the study covers the roles of thoughts and behaviours, psychoeducation, and symptom intensity in driving the distress associated with HPPD. Ed hopes that the study will inform future psychotherapies and treatment/recovery programmes.
The study can be completed here: https://uelpsych.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_b3kXHTcwDHujzZY
Those who don’t meet the inclusion criteria described above are encouraged to send the link to anyone they know who may be eligible. Having a large sample will be critical for good results! If anyone encounters issues completing the survey, they are to email Ed at u2252270@uel.ac.uk.
And for anyone who wishes to see a preview of the study without entering data, they can see it here: https://uelpsych.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/preview/SV_b3kXHTcwDHujzZY?Q_CHL=preview
